Streamed Myth: The Fallen Lord - everything is perfect.
Only one thing OBS have misframes (like rewind back every previous frame before showing new) could be fixed by loosing comfort, force windowed mode.

Tried to run Mechwarrior II Titanum Edition , its unfortunately hangs for me everytime with black screen. Tried dxwnd and dgvoodoo also. by debugging i spot infinite loop in kernela and rpc4.dll which doesnot tell me anything.

Thanks for that Raven-05, it's always good to know some games work without any problems.

Mechwarrior II, you need to run the compatibility fixes which Been_Nath_058 described somewhere on this forum. I think he linked to it on this thread as well. You need to follow the steps exactly to get it going because modern Windows doesn't like it. There're some CPU/Windows compatibility settings which need to be set. The CD-ROM drive needs to be D: (this can't be changed).

You'll need to configure the path for MW2 within DxWnd. The latest and greatest version has issues on Hi-DPI systems with this game. It also seems to hide resolutions above 1920x1080. There's probably a config setting somewhere that'll fix it, but tweaking dxwnd is a full time job, it is ridiculously useful.

BTW, I just tested this and it works with 2.06.

Fatal Racing runs with corrupted graphics. This game appears to be a 256 colour game in CGL mode (update: worst of all, it changes the palette of what's already on-screen, the next frame):

Battle Race and Hi-Octane start up. BR crashes to DOS and Hi-Oct keeps running with a black screen.

Ok the splash screen was messed up by shader based filtering, which is essential for paletted textures since there's no hardware support for paletted textures.

The game appears to be using the same texture address for every single texture, which is why it's messed up. There's something cglLoadTextureMap is doing wrong when it generates addresses. The other CGL apps which work seem to work ok with it.

The bugs
1. esc to enter game (known, not sure if its fixable )
2. pressing "D" while in game - can't draw 3d graphics on top of 2d screen
3. pressing "O" while in game - is for options, can't draw (one frame visible when pressing esc)
4. sometimes polygons blinks with various light levels
5. to take of - pausing and unpausing game must be done. WTF?
6. sometimes when exiting mission menu can't be fully drawn
only when moving mouse on whole screen to make it redraw
piece by piece

I haven't tested this very much. Taking off should just work E followed by + ten seconds later. I was aware of the exit menu screen bug and was under the impression that this was the only bug. I'll test this today. I think this game has issues with front and back buffer identification. To be more precise, rready's implementation of front and back buffer identication is broken in this game. Some games always treat buffer 0 as front and buffer 1 as back, others alternate with every buffer swap. As far as I can tell, this game uses a mixture of methods and rready is handling it badly.

This is a bug with one of the video clips on the game cd. On win98, it renders with macroblocking, on win10/11 it locks up.
