ultimately if consider what you formulated , so this fix simply do scrolling channels , limit window size , and do scrolling bar for change from port 1 to port 16
Thus you firstly see only 4 MIDI ports , but if you need more , you do scroling also as when do select MIDI device in list , and do use as many ports as you need

It seems that you really failed to understand this:

The analogy was not about adding or deleting. It was about how one would react when the ideas differ about what is better or worse. What you consider better for me is just more work for a more cluttered and unnecessarily complex user interface that no one would like or need except you.

You very mistake , yes , I available on Un4seen forum . but all what I achieved , this totally fixed bugs in work with plugins for WinAMP , if you think what this worst resultg , so me very sorry for you... because you not understand what useful result came out, on this forum I tryed two things :
1) fix WinAMP subsustem in XMPlay - and this was do
2) get skin from modern XMPlay for modify - this failed , because does not exist this solution in xmpskin variant
as for xmp_midi.dll , yes , I do tryied convince the author release via this plugin with function output MIDI to other virtual ports , but this was because waht I tinking what so fix in WinAMP subsystem fundamentally impossible , become I tried get result via offer modify native plugin for XMPlay , but when I see what this possible , I understand me mistake...
If you after this facts really contiuer think what first result bad , so... I simply not wish sayd to you in rude.
Please understand , what in ultimately my work give users and author benefit , for :
