Next, I tweaked some internal driver parameters (SST96_FT_CLK_DEL SST96_TF0_CLK_DEL SST96_TF1_CLK_DEL SST96_TT_CLK_DEL, can now be set externally with the new driver, same as then could always be set for a Voodoo/Voodoo2 card but never on the Rush for some reason).

What you're doing is amazing!
Is it possible to modify the gamma parameter in the driver so that it can be set externally?

Yes, it should be possible to implement that.

Gamma can now be set externally, eg:
set SST96_GAMMA=1.7
or per channel, eg:
set SST96_RGAMMA=1.7
set SST96_GGAMMA=1.7
set SST96_BGAMMA=1.7

This is only supported on the Alliance ProMotion AT25/AT3D. Macronix 2D IC is not supported.

Very nice work!

Your card looks very clean with very little glue between chips. What is that makes your cards needing less SMD components?

@Thandor thanks!
There aren't relly less SMD components, they are all on the bottom side of the PCB, and are way smaller than what was used back in the day on the Voodoo Rush.

Hi guys sorry to go a bit off topic here but I really need a hand to save this card, as I posted in this thread I'm building this basically just to test the Rush Re: Voodoo Rush (Jazz Adrenaline) , long story short after days and days troubleshooting (maddening because the 2D part works just fine), found a missing resistor after inspecting it under a microscope.
It's R82 apparently connects the reset line between the TMU (pin 208) and the FJR (pin 73). but no idea the value, I was leaning towards a 10K perhaps but the AI says it's actually 47 ohm , kind of low, anyone has a voodoo rush or voodoo 1 at hand? what's connected to pin 208 in the TMU ?

FJR pin 156 (not 73) is connected to the TMU pin 208 (reset). A zero ohm resistor can be used, or a low value resistor (10, 22, 47).

well thank you for the response I will try that, however I noticed as you can see in the picture pin 156 in the FJR is connected to a unpopulated R81 which would connect to 208, instead the missing resistor below connects 73 in the FJR (HRESET) looking at your schematics.

It should work with either one. In your case, just replace R82 with a zero ohm resistor or something close.
