I have lands of Lore 2 on 4 ISO files and I mount them all in DosBox Turbo the same way I would in DosBox. In both cases I do C:\> imgmount d c:\img1.iso c:\img2.iso c:\img3.iso -t iso (or -t -cdrom nmatter) and I have mounted them. Without doing that the game would not start w/o a CD, well it starts. The problem is that when during the game later on it wants to Insert CD2, there is a hotkey combo to use Ctrl+F4, so having mounted the 4 ISOs, switching with Ctrl+F4 and pressing Retry makes the game continue...

In DosBoxTurbo played on smartphone using the exact same commands and success... yes it is correctly typed since I can enter the game there as well BUT... once you get to the point of having to use Ctrl+F4 to switch to CD2 nothing happens - there is a key combination menu in DosBoxTurbo - Ctrl to be pressed then you click F4, this has worked many times, so this key combination of DosBox Turbo generally works but with this game I am thinking it switches but it doesn't accept and Retry does nothing.. Any ideas?

And a general question How in the world do I make MS-DOS/DOSBOX/etc recognize the folder's names when shortened to ~1? For example I have 'Lands of Lore' folder and when it displays it as LANDSO~1, when I try to use commands for that folder it says 'Landso~1' directory doesn't exist.. so it's like it knows this isn't the true name of the folder but it won't recognize the DOS name of that folder as well?

DosBoxTurbo is not an official port. If you have something that works in official DOSBox on a PC but not in DosBoxTurbo, then you should ask the DosBoxTurbo developers.

I'm not sure about the LANDSO~1 problem. Are you sure you have the name correct? You can see the short names from the Windows command prompt by using DIR /X.

I think I finally solved the prob of FolderName~1 (when using that name literally) not recognizing it, I just need to put the folders in their full name with the spaces, and just use hyphens.
"NOTE 1: if the path to your target directory contains spaces, you must enclose it in hyphens, like that (Source: Abadonia.com):
MOUNT C "C:\Documents and Settings\Harvey\My Documents\Games for DOSBox"

I thought it's the same devs who did DosBox.. I ask them too (: - the game crashes a lot on the smartphone, randomly, not sure if memory issue but I've seen Professional errors happening on DOSBOX as well - well not during the game but in the beginning, though I must admit the game doesn't crash in DosBox on PC, just DosBoxTurbo on the android Will try with their devs, thanks!

From the dev of DosBox Turbo:

'Regarding switching CD's. In DosBox Turbo, you can switch CD's by going to the "Special Keys" menu and selecting Switch Disc. This should do the same thing as a CTRL-F4 in Desktop DosBox.'

Note: the key is called 'Swap Media' - and indeed swaps the ISO, while CTRL+F4 didn't do it.

I had issues switching to CD2 in DosBox Turbo using Ctrl+F4 combination, it works for DosBox PC but not for the Android version, thus I couldn't continue the game as it couldn't read CD2. 'Swap Media' did it!
