I have lands of Lore 2 on 4 ISO files and I mount them all in DosBox Turbo the same way I would in DosBox. In both cases I do C:\> imgmount d c:\img1.iso c:\img2.iso c:\img3.iso -t iso (or -t -cdrom nmatter) and I have mounted them. Without doing that the game would not start w/o a CD, well it starts. The problem is that when during the game later on it wants to Insert CD2, there is a hotkey combo to use Ctrl+F4, so having mounted the 4 ISOs, switching with Ctrl+F4 and pressing Retry makes the game continue...
In DosBoxTurbo played on smartphone using the exact same commands and success... yes it is correctly typed since I can enter the game there as well BUT... once you get to the point of having to use Ctrl+F4 to switch to CD2 nothing happens - there is a key combination menu in DosBoxTurbo - Ctrl to be pressed then you click F4, this has worked many times, so this key combination of DosBox Turbo generally works but with this game I am thinking it switches but it doesn't accept and Retry does nothing.. Any ideas?
And a general question How in the world do I make MS-DOS/DOSBOX/etc recognize the folder's names when shortened to ~1? For example I have 'Lands of Lore' folder and when it displays it as LANDSO~1, when I try to use commands for that folder it says 'Landso~1' directory doesn't exist.. so it's like it knows this isn't the true name of the folder but it won't recognize the DOS name of that folder as well?
