I didn't. Are you sure it's packed? At the address there was a matching byte. Hence I would assume it was fine.

But I wonder why it has the correct byte at the same offset...? I have little hopes the unpacking will help. But am welcoming suggestions! Or maybe someone has a working binary?

I tried Paku Paku on my sound devices. MT32, CMS and Adlib as well as PC Speaker (via TNDY) works fine. But I don't get anything on the /tandySound option.

Is there a sound off sys file somewhere out of curiosity or a way to load the sndoff program file in config.sys?

extended my Tandy Prototype Card with Covox DAC,

its highly configurable so i can almost choose any IO Adress i want.

This is Setting the ISA DAC to LPT1:

So programs asking BIOS for LPT will use the Card.

Don`t be confused, its just plain DAC on ISA Bus.

i bascily have no idea now howto make DMA driven DAC.
As i also own no Tandy (yet)
And Dosbox Code did not really help me yet.
