Hi everyone,
Thank you for opening this dedicated thread - I really appreciate the support!
I'll use this space to share updates, answer questions and track progress.
Current focus is implementing the high-level SGL API to get Moon Racer and Revolte fully working in 3D. Since both share the same Virtuality KK engine, fixing one should fix the other.

leileilol, I don’t know you at all and I’m not in a position to give you advice, but I think you should learn to manage your frustration better. Sorry if I’ve frustrated you.
By the way, I’m not comfortable with these kinds of comments, so I’ll continue development privately. I hope whoever has the DLLs can enjoy Purevex.
Could someone delete this thread? I won’t be posting here again.
Best regards.

Hey, you're absolutely right 😊
Even though I've made the code private for now, I'll keep sharing progress updates in this thread and attach the wrapper here. Anyone who wants to download it is totally free to do so.
I'll also keep posting demos in youtue as things move forward — a video is worth more than a thousand trashy comments from one user anyway 😉
And by the way, for anyone who hasn't seen Purevex running on Windows 11 yet:

I would just disclose that it was made with AI , in future updates. People can choose if that's acceptable to them or not.

Not sure what's the deal about it being made through AI or not. An average consumer just needs the output.
Yes, could be bad from a developer's world and the future trajectory but it is what it is

Thank you all for the support - it really means a lot!
The repository will be public again. I need to decide when. My goal has always been to share this openly so anyone can extend it, improve it, or use it as reference for other projects. For those who just want to play - enjoy! Let's keep the feedback constructive. 🙂
I want to comment how use the shaders.
Create a "Shaders" folder in your Purevex directory, drop any RetroArch shaders inside and switch between them with F10. 3dfx and FXAA shaders work great in this beta.

"Yes, could be bad but I don't want to have to think about it"
I was also willing to give this the benefit of doubt since it was not disclosed that this was written using "AI" , even though the readme emoticons screamed LLM generated text. Maybe put a disclaimer in your next release?

I'm posting this as I was bamboozled earlier, and I don't want anyone else to be, so be aware of what you're getting into.
Carry on (at your own risk)
Ever since day 1 here at vogons, your opinions have been always wrong and mean spirited.
Also the battlezone and AoE community sends its regards for past opinions
Why? Wouldn't it be correct for the OP to disclose this kind of information to potential contributors so that others don't have to do it for him?
That's a very emotionally laden post of yours by the way

Has anyone tried to run this with revolte, moon racer and nirgends out of curiosity?
Reply 17 of 28, by ralonsoj
With the beta, the only fully functional game is Purevex and its demo. Tech demos like Sgltri API are also working. Revolte and Moon Racer get to the menu, but nothing beyond that. The vast majority of games don’t even launch.
The implementation is still ongoing... 🙂

Thanks for the answer. Would be cool to post clips of those games when working.

Colour me interested (as I have a Matrox M3D and a handful of games I can try)... including an actual commercially released copy of Moon Racer that I found on eBay luckily!
