That should work. You'll have to run it at "default" resolution with fill screen aspect ratio.

There's a trick to installing the game. I think you nee the GPLS installer to get it to work and you need t install it without any of the update models (i.e. use stock cars only).

The game won't start up with opengl anymore. You'll have to manually configure rredline. There's a dll name to change in the config. I'll post it in a bit.

That's what you need. You'll have to run the game through the RLauncher OR copy the two RRedline dlls in there directly.

You'll also need fill screen (default for 4:3) aspect ratio and use the default resolution. Higher resolutions can be selected from within the game.

The nirvtek.com site has been hacked again. The hosting provider has recommended a clean start. The hack appears to have originated from an older wordpress site, not the current one. The hacker or hackers appears to have been sending out explicit spam using the admin email and some of the scripts they used to login can't be deleted, they appear to recreate themselves. So the site will be down and moved to a fresh server over the next few days.

Descent II working a little bit better in dosbox-rendition. It's still glacially slow though.

- Menus render properly
- Cutscenes should render a bit better
- Textures (distant mips) still missing

Edit: Zandvoort has blue squares flickering on flags of country instead should be flag textures only , so its a rare little glitch, happens on distance, maybe mipmap failure.

Can't actually see anything wrong with the logs. I think V1.0.0 of the game just won't run on modern Windows. I also didn't see blue squares flickering in the flags.

I've captured some footage of Zandvoort on RReady and V2100; I'll post them in a bit.

The mirrors appear to be broken, but I'm going to fix that. Didn't notice the flags glitching.

FIFA 99 - have veritea.dll, dll itself references to redline.dll and verite.dll , probably could be activated by renaming veritea.dll to d3da.dll and running game with -D3D command line, but game CTD instantly with wrapper.

Future cop's 3d setup seems to imply that /G: D3d and /M: d3d should be used for Rendition. I'll test it on the hardware tomorrow.

It does work, it needs the -rredline switch (same as i76l, I think.

On windows you need the dgvoodoo D3D dlls and dxwnd. The help file for rready (click help) has a download link for a pre-configured build (other than the exes path).
